Sun Inns Hotel Kepong, Kuala Lumpur

I stayed for two nights at Sun Inns Hotel Kepong and was pleasantly surprised by the room features. The price is reasonable, and even though the rooms are small by conventional standards, they are quite cozy for two people. The inclusion of a window in some rooms added a nice touch of brightness. It felt like a very good choice for a budget hotel, especially for backpackers or those looking for economical options.

During my stay, I found the bathroom functional and adequate. Although the shower was a bit too close to the toilet, as is common in many Malaysian hotels, it worked just fine. It wasn't luxurious, but it served its purpose well enough for a short stay. I did notice, however, that the housekeeping forgot to refill the shampoo dispenser, but that was a minor hiccup in an otherwise pleasant experience.

While the hotel itself doesn't offer extensive dining options, there are many affordable local eateries nearby. I was able to enjoy some delicious local dishes without straying far from the hotel. The convenience of nearby dining made my stay even more enjoyable, as I had the flexibility to explore local cuisine without spending too much time traveling.

The room provided basic media and entertainment options, which met my needs well. While I didn't expect high-end facilities, having a TV in the room helped me relax after a day of exploring. It was enough for me to unwind, and I appreciated that even in a budget hotel, they provided this small amenity.
